The Darragh Frain memorial cup will take place in St. James’ Mervue Galway on September 9th. The teams that will participate on the day will include St. James’, Milltown, Killannin, St. Michael’s, Oranmore-Maree and St. Croans of Roscommon. Our aims are, firstly, to pay tribute to the late Darragh Frain who gave endless of hours to the G.A.A. It is about the boys enjoying the occasion and playing Gaelic football in a fun friendly and safe environment. The tournament is obviously competitive, our wishes are that all players, coaches and parents participate in a sporting and well-mannered way. We are delighted that your club will be participating in this football festival and our wishes are that every boy enjoys and remembers this day. There is no entry fee for this tournament. Our catering staff will provide hot/cold refreshments for all children, parents and supporters. We are looking forward to seeing you all on the 9th of September. Registration begins @10am. The first group games commence at 10:30am.
