Club News

The Jimmies were unable to get to grips with their championship tie against Ballinasloe this evening in Mervue. James’ were beaten by a strong Ballinasloe outfit. The Jimmies were not at at full strength and this proved evident in this championship tie. Nevertheless, well done to the visitors on their victory and the club would like to wish them the best of luck in the semi-final. The club would like to thank the management and players for all their efforts in 2017. This is a good group of players that have lots of potential. The majority of the team are made up of u-13 players and one will be looking with close interest in 2018. Furthermore, thanks are extended to all the supporters and parents for attending the games all year. Finally, thanks to manager John Melody and his backroom team of Jimmy Gillespie, Ronan McNulty and Stephen Diviney for all their input throughout the year.
