St. James’ senior team defeated Mountbellew Moughlough in the Galway Senior Division 1 League yesterday. The Jimmies traveled to Mountbellew and managed to grasp a win in the final minute of the game. This was an end to end tie with both teams giving it their all. Although both teams were missing key players, this game was an exceptional match. The standard of football was very high and it must be noted that the scores taken by James’ and Mountbellew were very good. The final score resulted St. James 2-8 (14) Mountbellew 1-10 (13).
Best wishes to Ailbhe O'Regan who lines out for the Tribeswomen tomorrow. The Galway U-21 team take on Tyrone in the Championship.

St James' Ladies Football Club caters for girls aged 5 years upwards to a Senior Ladies Team covering the parishes of Mervue, Renmore, Ballybane and The Holy Sheppard (Doughiska, Roscam and Ardaun). We are volunteer led and affiliated to the LGFA.
