James’ Seniors Fall Short in Senior Championship
Club News

Hard luck to our senior team who were defeated by Corofin today in Pearse Stadium. This championship game was doubled up with the Division 1 league final of 2017. The final score resulted St. James’ 1-8 Corofin 0-15. The Jimmies were without key players due to injury and notably Paul Conroy, Johnny Duane and Josh MacFarlane. Nevertheless, James’ showed good character and defended/attacked extremely well against the All-Ireland champions. In the end we failed to win the game but the club are very proud of their performance and look forward to play Annaghdown in the Quarter finals of the senior championship. Pictured is James’ ‘Danger Man’ Eoin Concannon who added a tally of 1-3 today.
