St James’ G.A.A. Juvenile appoints Ronan Collins as Strength & Conditioning Coach for 2016

St James’ G.A.A. Juvenile club has appointed Ronan Collins as Strength & Conditioning Coach for the 2016 season. Ronan played Gaelic games at underage level and also played soccer for Mervue United. He is also educated in martial arts and carry’s a vast amount of knowledge about the sport. Ronan is enrolled at GTI Galway; there he is studying to be a personal trainer. Prior to this, he has helped out as a coach at the St James’ G.A.A. Juvenile Academy. He’s son Aaron is a juvenile member at the St James’ club. In addition, Ronan stated that he was ‘only happy to help out and I haven’t looked back…I love training the kids and it has given me a new drive for 2016’. Mr. Collins was appointed on the 15th of January as the Jimmies new Strength & Conditioning Coach and has worked closely with this year’s U-14 squad. The club would like to congratulate Ronan on his new position and are looking forward to working with him in 2016.
