The club are delighted to announce that club players Jack O’Neill and Aishling Carroll will be coaching in our Local National Schools (Merlin Woods, Scoil Mhuire, Brierhill, Gael Scoil Dara, Scoil Chaitríona and Radhac na Mara) from next week until the end of the school term.
Jack plays on the senior team and is a studying commerce at University College Galway. Aishling is studying to be a teacher at University College Galway and plays on the ladies adult team. Both club members are qualified in coaching and have work on GAA Cúl Camps and other club initiatives relating to coaching & games.
Coaching Officer Alan O’Donnell and School’s Liaison Officer Cathal Walsh have put in a lot of work to get this programme up and running and many thanks for all input.
